€ 3.40
per person / night

Rate structure & calculation

Bad Füssing charges a Kurbeitrag per person per stay day. The standard/high-season adult rate is €3.40 in Kurbezirk I (1 April–31 October). The complete adult schedule is: Kurbezirk I €3.40 summer / €2.60 winter (1 November–31 March); II €2.70 / €2.10; III €2.20 / €1.60; IV €1.80 / €1.30. Children under 16 are free. Partial days count as full days and the arrival and departure days together count as one stay day. Day visitors who do not stay overnight pay €2.20. The statutory VAT is included. The 15 December 2025 amendment, effective 1 January 2026, changes the scope of liability but not the published rate schedule.

Exemptions & reductions

The following are exempt: children under 16; persons with a disability degree of 100; persons with a severely disabled pass bearing the aG mark; war-disabled persons; accompanying persons of a severely disabled person whose pass bears the B mark; and pupils/students who present a corresponding pupil or student ID. Persons with a disability degree of 80–95 pay 50% of the applicable rate. Exemption or reduction documents must be produced when requested. Business travellers are not automatically exempt from reporting: the municipality says all overnight stays, including business-related stays that may not be liable for the Kurbeitrag, must still be reported.

Short-term rental & host rules

The official Kurbeitrag rules do not state a municipal registration-number requirement or a specific Wohnraumschutz/Zweckentfremdungsverbot registration number for short-term rentals. Hosts and anyone providing accommodation or living space, including camping and motorhome-site operators, must report liable guests and the required data (name, principal-home address, date of birth, arrival date and planned departure) electronically to the municipality without delay and no later than the day after arrival, unless the guest has already reported. The host must collect the Kurbeitrag and is liable for its complete payment; invoices are payable by the due date shown by the municipality. Bad Füssing also publishes a Fremdenverkehrssatzung controlling the purpose of areas with tourism functions; the municipality describes approval restrictions for newly created second homes that are not used for more than half the year. This is distinct from a short-term-rental registration number, which was not found in the official materials reviewed.
