No official per-person, per-night visitor/occupancy tax (Kurtaxe, Kurabgabe, City Tax or Übernachtungsteuer) was found. The official municipal source instead provides a Fremdenverkehrsbeitrag (tourism contribution) payable annually by tourism-benefiting self-employed persons and businesses, not by overnight guests. Its 2026 accommodation-business assessment is based on beds: €29.27 per bed for commercial accommodation, €13.34 per bed for private landlords, and €3.47 per bed for youth hostels. These are annual business contribution rates and must not be converted into a guest nightly rate.
The municipal tourism-contribution statute does not provide guest exemptions such as children, disability or business-traveller exemptions, because it is not a guest-night tax. For liable businesses, trainees are excluded when calculating the number of employees; a full or partial waiver may be granted on application in personal or factual hardship cases.
No official Bispingen rule was found imposing a short-term-rental registration number, housing-protection registration or Zweckentfremdungsverbot. The tourism-contribution statute does require liable persons and businesses to provide the municipality with information needed to calculate the annual contribution; the municipality may investigate or estimate the basis if information is missing or suspected to be inaccurate.
