For overnight stays, the standard adult Kurbeitrag is EUR 3.60 per person per stay day, effective 1 December 2025. Children aged 6 to under 16 pay EUR 1.80; children under 6 are exempt. Arrival and departure days count together as one stay day, and statutory VAT is included. Non-overnight visitors pay a daily rate of EUR 3.30 for adults and EUR 1.65 for ages 6 to under 16. A flat annual charge applies to qualifying second-home holders: EUR 80 for adults and EUR 40 for ages 6 to under 16.
Children under 6 are exempt. Persons with a degree of severe disability (GdB) of 100% and accompanying persons who are officially documented as requiring constant assistance are exempt when proof is presented. The cited municipal bylaw does not state a separate business-traveller exemption. Qualifying second-home holders are subject to the separate annual flat charge rather than the nightly charge.
The bylaw treats anyone who accommodates guests or otherwise provides them with living space, including camping-site operators, as a collection and reporting party. Hosts must report guest details (name, address, date of birth, arrival and planned departure) to the municipality by 12:00 noon on the day after arrival, electronically through the municipality's procedure; written submission may be used for establishments with fewer than 10 beds, and an exception may be granted in cases of undue hardship. Hosts must collect the Kurbeitrag, remit it to the municipality no later than one day after departure (unless monthly remittance is authorised), and are liable for full payment. The official tax bylaw does not specify a registration number and does not state a Wohnraumschutz or Zweckentfremdungsverbot regime for short-term rentals.
